Guide To The Best View in Town
Have you ever wanted to splurge and have dinner somewhere that not only has delicious food, but has a spectacular view accompanied with it as well. Hooray, you came to the right place. San Diego has a ton of restaurants lining the coastline, or inland valleys that do an amazing job at making sure that their customers have a fabulous dinner with a more than spectacular view. I am personally the kind of girl that loves to be close to the water, and if I can enjoy a sunset at dinner, reflecting on the water, I am a very happy camper.
For this guide to success, I have rated the top 8 restaurants that I feel deserve recognition for quality food, delicious drinks, and an impeccable view. If you are having trouble knowing what to order, check out my recommendations below as well. And don't forget, you can never go wrong with drinks and appetizers! (Disclaimer: I love Ahi, Scallops and chocolate, so I am very bias towards those items)
1. Pacific Coast Grill
Location: Cardiff by the Sea
Appetizer: PCG Rainbow Roll or Bag O' Bonz
Dinner Recommendations: Sesame-Crusted Ahi or Kung Pao Filet Mignon
Drinks: Wine! Bring your own bottle and enjoy, with a corkage fee, or enjoy a selection from their long menu list.
Dessert: White Chocolate Bread Pudding
*Get their early for dinner, and ask to sit upstairs on the patio. The views are unforgettable, and you cannot reserve the patio upstairs when you make a reservation.
2. C Level and Island Prime
Location: Downtown San Diego (right near the airport)
Appetizer: Seared Ahi Stack
Dinner: Pan Roasted Day Boat Scallops
Dessert: Mud Pie
Drinks: Sol y Mar or house Sangria
3. Coasterra Modern Mexican
Location: Downtown San Diego (right near the airport and conveniently located next door to C Level)
