What are you looking for; not water. Downtown San Diego proves to be an upbeat city, and a city that sleeps very few hours. When heading downtown, for delicious drinks or the perfect pregame, there are so many options. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, that's what i am here for! Check out some recommendations for places to hit up before hitting the gas lamp.

Ready to get weird?

1. Noble Experiment

Located on G street downtown, Noble Experiment provides excellent bar tending and serves up delicious drinks. There is a secret door to get in, good luck finding it, and is a cute speakeasy when you walk in. Order the dealers choice (surprise drink) for a fun night out!

2. Cat Eye Club

Located on 7th street downtown, the Cat Eye Club is a small cocktail lounge with a retro feeling. All drinks follow the Tiki feeling, and they also have live music sometimes. This is located right next to Blind Burro, so stop in here for a drink while your waiting to eat!

3. The local Eatery & Drinking Hole

The Drinking hole is more of a causal hangout, or a pub like feel, and has a ton of craft beers and a great happy hour! Be sure to check their daily specials, and try a beer cocktail if you are feeling Beersy; or is it ballsy?!

4. Altitude Sky Lounge

The vibe of a club, located on a roof. Altitude is more of a swanky rooftop bar, and although they call themselves a lounge, it can sometimes be confused for a small club. Located on top of the Marriott, with a strict dress code and a WONDERFUL view of Petco during baseball season.

5. Prohibition Lounge

"Bartenders are artist" here at the Prohibition Lounge, in the heart of the gaslamp it is a perfect place for all things drinks. Check out their instagram for the latest updates on live music, and delicious drinks that you cannot miss.
